A French/Swedish Inspired wedding at blue sky ranch
Alyssa & Jacob
Jacob’s family is from Sweden, Alyssa served a mission in France, and this became the base for their design story. I imbued these combined heritage details into their custom crest, envelope liner pattern, and accents throughout their traditional, foil stamped invitation suite.
The highlight of their day-of design was their Swedish Wedding Coin escort display. As the tradition goes, a bride receives 2 coins to wear in her shoes on her wedding day, a silver coin from her father and a gold coin from her mother to insure that she will never go without. To honor this tradition, each guests name was laser etched onto a silver coin, with the couple’s crest on the back. Once guests had found their seats, we transitioned this display to posters celebrating the couple’s love story and their first date to see Bandstand on Broadway.
